About Kia

My journey in fitness began from a very personal place. I spent my younger years overweight, and that experience became the catalyst for a deeper dive into health and fitness. Over the past 12 years, I’ve developed not just my physical skills but a passion for helping others transform their lives through movement. Although I once dreamed of playing in the NBA, my path took me to semi-professional leagues, where I realized my true calling: helping the next generation become superstars by avoiding the setbacks I faced.

My philosophy on fitness is rooted in gratitude. I believe fitness is not a chore, but a privilege—a chance to honor the body and the hard work it takes to transform it. It’s about recognizing the beauty in the process, respecting your capabilities, and showing up for yourself every day. For me, fitness is more than just exercise; it’s about unlocking the potential within you and feeling proud of the effort that leads to progress.

As a coach, I specialize in corrective exercise and athletic development. My background in physiotherapy allows me to incorporate biomechanics and sports physiology to ensure every client reaches their full potential. I focus on making information easily digestible, so you don’t have to make the same mistakes I did. My goal is to empower everyone to not only achieve their best version but to do so in a way that’s sustainable and can positively influence those around them.
