About Jacob

Jacob’s passion for sport and fitness began at an early age through his involvement in competitive basketball. Growing up on the court, he dedicated countless hours to improving his performance and competing at a high level. However, recurring knee injuries during his playing years forced him to step away from the game he loved. It was during this challenging time that Jacob discovered his love for the gym — not only as a tool for recovery, but as a new passion that sparked his lifelong interest in strength training, rehabilitation, and athletic performance.

Alongside his own training, Jacob gained years of experience coaching basketball teams and teaching swimming lessons, developing his ability to connect with athletes and support them in reaching their potential. His commitment to sport and rehab deepened when he worked as a student trainer for his university basketball team, where he helped athletes recover from injuries and safely return to play. These experiences cemented his desire to pursue a career in physiotherapy and inspired him to use his knowledge to help others overcome setbacks.

Jacob went on to study physiotherapy at the Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK, graduating in 2025. His education, combined with hands-on experience in coaching, rehab, and training, has given him a well-rounded understanding of both the science and the art of movement. He is passionate about blending evidence-based physiotherapy principles with personalized fitness strategies to help clients build strength, prevent injury, and achieve sustainable progress.

Now at PMF, Jacob’s mission is clear: to help people feel their best, regain confidence in their bodies, and get back to doing the things they love. Whether guiding someone through rehabilitation, designing a strength program, or motivating clients to push past their limits, he is dedicated to supporting each individual on their personal fitness journey.

Training Philosophy:
Jacob believes exercise is medicine. His approach emphasizes consistency, proper technique, and injury prevention, with a focus on building strength and resilience for long-term health. Above all, his goal is to help clients feel stronger, healthier, and more capable in both sport and everyday life.

Questionaire

What do you say to the person who’s afraid to begin exercising?
I’d tell them that the hardest part is simply showing up. You don’t need to be perfect, just consistent. Once you start building a routine and show up for yourself regularly, the progress and confidence will follow.

Favorite Exercise?
Bench Press

Least Favorite Exercise?
Cardio

What do you do when you’re not whipping people into shape?
When I’m not whipping people into shape, I’m usually at the gym, hanging out with friends and family, hiking, playing basketball, or watching movies. I also spend time studying physiotherapy principles to keep learning and continue my professional development.

Guilty Indulgence?
Gelato

If you were a superhero who would it be & why?
I’d be the Hulk, I’ve always loved his strength and the way he channels his rage into pure power. As a bodybuilder, that energy speaks to me. Sometimes you’ve got to tap into that inner fire to push through a tough workout or a bad day.

Your secret to success?
My secret to success is staying consistent and disciplined – showing up on the hard days, especially when I’m tired or don’t feel like it. That’s when it matters most. I track my progress to see how far I’ve come, and that reminder keeps me pushing forward. Success isn’t about perfection – it’s about showing up, staying committed, and never quitting on yourself.
