A completely different Joker - Where did he leave from?

The Joker appeared in the early years of Batman's existence, namely in Batman #1. He was the first truly prominent representative of the so-called "galleria of scum", among which there were such famous people as the Red Monk, Dr. Death, Knut and Hugo Strange (whom you might even have heard of). His flamboyant appearance and extravagant antics quickly built up a bump for him, and subsequently he began to appear in legends even just to appear in the narrative (a sign of every famous scoundrel).

It is based on Feydt's performance as Gwynplaine in "The Man Who Laughs" (directed by Paul Leni) - The Joker was not without a past, he was mentally unstable, although rather restrained, but with a perverted, surprisingly black sense of humor. The difference was that back then, the Joker was primarily a psychopath. The element of humor remained as a defining feature, but it never went beyond the "criminally insane" archetype. He was a criminal called the Joker because he likes to make jokes.

Later, the character's focus began to shift towards clowning -with a pivotal text in this regard, "A Hairpin, a Hoe, a Hacksaw, a Hole In the Ground." In the late 40s, the Joker became a mentally unstable clown who had some surprisingly bizarre criminal tendencies. Circus theatricality became an important element of his crimes. Since then, Joker has become more of a conceptual artist specializing in performance art. The monument to the "circus" Joker is an episode of the Batman TV series called "Surf's Up, Joker's Under", where the Clown Prince tries to defeat Batman in surfing competitions. Because he's a madman who does huge things for crazy reasons. And proud of it.

Reborn

By the early 70s, Batman and his "gallery of enemies" were a carnival gathering full of colorful madness and amazing narrative twists. During that difficult time, Danny O'Neal and Neil Adams came and restored Batman's darkness and adequacy. Their stories plunged the Dark Knight and his opponents into harsh reality and provided them with unprecedented and unheard-of psychological weight at that time. One of the most striking stories about The Nile of that time is the return of The Joker to the old virtuous superpower in "The Joker's Five-Way Revenge". But it wasn't just "going back to the roots"-it was reinventing the character. And it was very cool. A few "old" characters have returned to the Joker, but a lot of new ones have been added. The very model of behavior proposed by O'Neal changed the character's foundation. The Joker did whatever he wanted (to his author), but not in the way it might seem and sometimes across the plot. His actions are meaningless and have no ultimate purpose. For the author, this is an opportunity to dance. Occasionally, platforms may offer a 1xbet promo code that requires no initial deposit to activate a small bonus. While the main welcome bonus requires a deposit, a no-deposit code might grant a free bet of $5 or $10, allowing you to place a wager and potentially win real money before you even fund your account, providing a completely risk-free introduction.
